SEAM utilises the broad capability of finite element analysis (FEA), stress analysis, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to analyse engineering problems across a wide variety of industries in Ireland, with the goal of providing cost savings for our customers. FEA is a powerful analysis method used in the simulation of physical systems in engineering, and is often used for stress analysis of structures and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). FEA can be used to simulate virtually all physical phenomena in areas including structural, thermal, fluids, and electronics, and has such has practically limitless applications. Interactions between physics fields such as thermal-structural, thermal-electric and fluid structure interaction can also be simulated.
